Following this necessity for several years now, we have been adopting environmentally friendly techniques such as reduced tillage, which reduces fuel use by at least 20%. This and precision farming, allow us to optimise the use of fertilisers, according to the real needs of the plants, administering them according to the characteristics of the soil and what they can absorb, thus avoiding unnecessary waste.
Natural fertiliser
We have begun to produce fertiliser naturally with the help of plants, through the technique of legume green manure, using their ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen.
Protection of fauna
We have shaped our rice paddies by leaving their perimeters grassed, creating refuge areas for wildlife, and flooded ditches to sustain and conserve frogs and toads.
Clean energy
Finally, we have installed a photovoltaic panel system on the roof of the company, with a production capacity of 55 KWp of clean energy and an annual saving of 38500 kg of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
